EMC Statement regarding World Mental Health Day

Tbilisi. Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) publishes a statement regarding World Mental Health Day. 

“The stigma that exists in society and is related to people with psychosocial needs continues to be a major problem. In a lot of cases, violence committed against this group remains invisible to both society and the state, while high-profile cases of violence are automatically attributed to psychosocial needs”, - is noted in the statement.
