Transition to a proportional representation electoral system: Statement of EMC
Tbilisi. Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) releases a statement regarding ongoing parliamentary discussions about a proportional representation electoral system.
“EMC calls on the ruling team, opposition parties and independent Members of Parliament to realize the social and political context, which has brought the current issue of constitutional amendments to the agenda and urges the Parliament to support proposed constitutional amendments”.
