Problematic infrastructure projects and facts of alleged corruption at local self-governments

Tbilisi. Investigative Journalists’ Team “IFact” and TSpress ge, with the support of the Open Society Georgia Foundation, conducted a research of infrastructure projects implemented in 2014 – 2018 years in regions of Georgia.

The focus of an initial stage of the research was on problematic projects. As a result of a study of thirty projects it was revealed that 8 were completed but not functioning; 16 were completed but needed to be redone; while 6 were not implemented at all.
