Tbilisi. According to information released by Transparency International Georgia, the competition for selection of members of the Board of Trustees of Public Broadcaster is carried out with procedural violations.
“The election commission has presented eight candidates for three vacant seats to the Parliament, while according to the rules of procedure of the Parliament, the parliament should nominate “at least three times more candidates than those to be elected”, i.e. not less than 9 in this case”.
