NGOs about Planned Amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court
Tbilisi. NGOs have released the
statement concerning the planned amendments to the Organic Law on the
Constitutional Court. "We would like to call on the Parliament of Georgia
to hold public consultations with the Constitutional Court concerning the
increase of examination terms prior to voting on the draft Law, while to
replace the blanket norm with the court's discretionary powers," says the
statement.
