Members of the Charter of Journalistic Ethics Hold Regional Meetings
Imereti. On June 28, members of the Council of Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics met with local journalists and discussed the existing ethical problems of the journalistic work. As the representatives of the Charter stated, their objective is to popularize the Charter as the mechanism of self-regulation and to inform the citizens thereof.
The Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics was established in December 2009. According to the latest data, there are 213 signatories to the Charter.
