“Rights Georgia” calls on the Prosecutor's Office to launch an investigation referring to the article about unlawful interference in journalistic activities

Tbilisi. “Rights Georgia” conducted an individual survey of journalists and cameramen affected by the November 8 rally. The survey gives an impression that in some cases water cannons have been applied by law enforcers to target specifically media representatives.

The organization considers that there are signs of a crime defined by the Criminal Code of Georgia, which entails the responsibility for unlawful interference in professional activities of a journalist.
