People and planet are entering an entirely new geological epoch
The new Human Development Report, released by United Nations Development Programme - UNDP today, argues that people and planet are entering an entirely new geological epoch, the Anthropocene or the Age of Humans.
“The report calls on all countries to redesign their paths to progress by fully accounting for the dangerous pressure humans put on the planet and dismantle the gross imbalances of power and opportunity that prevent change”.
