Monitoring of Property Alienated in Adjara for One Lari
Adjara. On April 30, the Batumi Branch of the Georgian
Young Lawyers' Association has presented the results of "Monitoring of
Alienation of the Property in the Ownership of the Adjara Autonomous Republic
for One Lari". Monitoring has revealed that the part of agreements on
alienation of property for 1 GEL was devoid of due effective control
mechanisms. In addition, the contractual terms have been often amended, and in
case of several contracts the terms are vague.
