GYLA publishes comments on amendments to the Election Code
Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) has submitted a report on amendments to the Election Code to the Parliament.
The organization supports improvement of the election legislation and reflection of a large part of the April 19 document of Charles Michel, President of the European Council, in it, however, GYLA has comments related to the bill on the following issues:
Staffing of district commissions;
Control of the will of the electorate;
Electoral system of local self-government;
Deadlines for appealing election disputes;
Mandatory recount;
