Tbilisi. According to the Women’s Information Center, in 2017, there was ratified the so-called “Istanbul Convention” in Georgia. A group of experts on action against violence against women and domestic violence (GREVIO) at the Council of Europe carries out monitoring of implementation of commitments made. Within the framework of an assessment of the current situation in Georgia, in particular the problem of sexual violence, non-governmental organizations submitted an alternative report to GREVIO.
