G-PAC has started applying these new media technology tools for evaluating the
grant proposals. Owing to this initiative, the commission evaluating a grant
proposal has the opportunity during the evaluation process to contact the
applicant via Skype or telephone and ask various questions about the project
ideas. As the organization's official web page states, "formulation of
project ideas in writing is a huge challenge for the organizations in Georgia's
regions. Conveying the ideas verbally is so much easier for them".
On July 6 EWMI G-PAC
held the online consultation through the new media technologies concerning the
paid internship program, which was delivered to the persons and organizations
interested in the internship. They could ask questions via Skype or a Facebook
page.
The web portal CsoGeorgia.org releases a weekly newsletter of grants competition, contests, vacancies, fellowships, and tenders for civil society organizations, and for any interested person.
