Deputy Public Defender Meets with Netherlands’ Human Rights Ambassador
Tbilisi. On June 28, 2022, Giorgi Burjanadze, Deputy Public Defender of Georgia, met with Bahia Tahzib-Lie, Human Rights Ambassador of the Netherlands, and Maaike van Koldam, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia.
Giorgi Burjanadze informed the guests of the activities of the Public Defender's Office and the current human rights situation in the country, including the investigation of hate crimes, the right to a fair trial and the rights situation of prisoners and vulnerable persons in Georgia.
