Tbilisi. With the support of the U.S. government, orphaned children with disabilities will now live in a home type environment and receive better medical care. With Ambassador Degnan in attendance, the newly constructed buildings were handed over to the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia to support the Georgian Government’s efforts to decentralize big orphanages. United States Army European Command spent approximately 2.2 million GEL on the project.
