The Georgia Red Cross Society (GRCS) joins the World Blood Donor Day every year and organizes various activities.

In 2024, blood donation campaigns were held in Tbilisi, Batumi, Khulo and Keda, with the involvement of the GRCS staff and volunteers. A total of 115 individuals participated in the campaign, with 90 meeting the blood bank requirements and donating blood.
