NGOs Produce a Draft Law to Protect Single Mothers
Tbilisi. A bill of legislative amendments was drafted as part of the project – "Promoting Systemic Changes for Single Mothers to Secure Social and Legal Guarantees". The amendments aim to provide a legal status of the "single mother" in the Georgian legislation, as well as to create the guarantees of social and legal protection for persons of similar category. The project is funded by the Anti-Violence Network of Georgia, Open Society - Georgia Foundation and USAID. The bill was drafted in partnership with other NGOs and state authorities.
