''Gender Equality in Political Processes''

Adjara. On August 30, the "Union of Warriors with Disabilities and Spouses of Killed Warriors" has held in the Batumi Civic Engagement Center the presentation of the project – "Gender Equality in Political Processes".
The project aims to reveal the problems and stereotypes undermining the gender equality policy in Georgia and identify the ways of their solution.
CSO representatives have attended the meeting, who have discussed during the second half of the meeting the factors preventing gender equality, as well as named the stereotypes acting against the gender equality.
The project is funded by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as part of the project "Building of Trust towards Electoral Processes".
