Bar Association Executive Board Releases Statement
Tbilisi. The Executive Board of
the "Georgian Bar Association” has released a statement. "The Board would like
to react to recent facts of pressure and detention against individual attorneys
and the developments around the Bar Association Chairman’s statements on these
facts. The Board finds unacceptable any action that can threaten the
independence of an attorney’s profession and undermine trust towards the united
Bar Association,” says the statement.
