Mtskheta-Mtianeti. On September 12 of the current year, a trilateral regional meeting was organized at the Bulachauri Green Center within the CENN regional initiative "Strengthening and Engagement of Rural Women in Natural Resources Management in the South Caucasus Countries”.
The meeting was attended by the national and local coordinators of the project, as well as members of Rural Women Councils (RWCs) from South Caucasus Countries.
The aim of the meeting was to present and discuss the meetings conducted by the local coordinators of the three countries in the framework of the Integrated Resource Management Bilateral Plan (IRMP) development process and their results.
Local coordinators and RWC members from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan presented the results of the IRMP meetings conducted by them at the local level. During the presentations, they talked about the process of organization, as well as the outputs of the meetings. They presented the main problems existing in the target areas; the causes of these problems, as well as ways for their solution, developed in close consultation with local stakeholders.
The presentations were followed by active discussions on the presented issues.
