Tbilisi. Participants
of campaign "This Affects You Too" have released a statement in the
social network. The organizations launch an initiative, which calls for
switching off mobile phones from 13:00 to 14:00 every Friday until the
Parliament adopts legislative package against secret surveillance and illegal
wiretapping. "Citizens, who are against continuing the instilled practice
of secret surveillance and wiretapping and would like to change current
legislation, we offer to participate in our initiative by switching off their
mobiles on Friday at 13:00 for a short period of time and to demand together
with us the adoption of legislative amendments," says the statement.
