‘’Degree of Voter Awareness in the Adjara Autonomous Republic’’

Adjara. On September 21, the "International Center for Civic Culture” and the Association "Independent Journalists’ House” have organized the discussion in the Batumi Press Cafe on the "Degree of voter awareness in the Adjara Autonomous Republic”. The representatives of CSOs, media, political parties and local election commissions, students and various social group members have participated in the discussion.
The meeting participants have discussed the causes of the low degree of awareness of voters in Adjara, and the role and importance of NGO and state organizations and political parties in terms of solution of these problems.
The discussions are organized within the framework of the project "Voter Education in the Adjara Region”, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
