Tbilisi. In support of Women’s History Month, Chargé d’Affaires Bridget Brink hosted a "speed networking” event at her residence to encourage young Georgian women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (so-called STEM fields). Georgian women working in STEM fields held multiple four-minute networking sessions with young Georgian women interested in studying those fields. This year, the U.S. Embassy’s focus is on celebrating women of character, courage, and commitment, and in particular recognizing women who have made significant achievements in STEM fields and encouraging a new generation of women to embrace careers in STEM.
