"On March, 2014, the mass media spread information about a beating case of a member of the Parliament of Georgia, Nugzar Tsiklauri. ...The Public defender of Georgia considers necessity and importance to react on such cases damaging health and jeopardizing life of the persons, who perform representative authorities and enjoy with a special protection", says the statement.
