“Civil Activism and Women's Political Participation” - Training in Gori
Shida Kartli. Training on "Civil Activism and
Women's Political Participation" was delivered on May 20 in the Gori Youth Center functioning with the Association
"Club of the Disabled". In addition, the exhibition "Women from
the Past - Example for the Future" was organized. Media Development Fund
has organized the event. Tamar Kintsurashvili and Tamar Khorbaladze have led
the training, and the Associated Professor of the Ilia University Tata Tsopurashvili
has talked about women's political and civil rights, as well as legislative
guarantees for enhancing women participation in the electoral processes. Up to
30 members of the Gori Youth Center have attended the event.
