CSOs to Observe Elections in Penitentiary Institutions
Tbilisi. The Election Environment Development Center has released a statement in the social network. "Based on active cooperation with parties involved in the elections, the Central Election Commission has organized the formation of a special group on June 11 for the local self-government elections, which monitors the dissemination of propaganda materials in the penitentiary institutions for inmates who enjoy the right to vote.
16-person group including the observers from CSOs and representatives from election entities carries out monitoring in 10 penitentiary institutions of East and West Georgia. Monitoring will take place from June 7 to 14."
