Tbilisi. The East-West Management Institute’s (EWMI) Policy, Advocacy, and Civil Society Development in Georgia (G-PAC) is a four-year initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It aims to strengthen civil society’s role in advocating for, influencing the development and implementation of, and monitoring effective public policy reforms in Georgia. To achieve its objectives, EWMI G-PAC designed and implemented comprehensive grants and technical assistance programs targeted to different types of CSOs: Georgian think tanks, Tbilisi-based and regional NGOs, CSO networks/coalitions engaged in policy analysis and advocacy, and universities.The project awarded 294 grants throughout Georgia valued at 5,437million USD.
