Kakheti. A workshop of the
Election Group of the Regional Civil Society Network (R-CSN) was organized on
June 26-27 in Kvareli in the "Kvareli Eden" Hotel.The workshop aimed to
allow the CSOs working on the election environment to share their election
experiences among each other, evaluate the 2014 local self-government elections
in their regions and develop joint recommendations.Draft recommendations
were developed as a result of a 2-day work, which mainly cover practical issues
identified throughout working on the elections. It was planned to draft a joint
statement on evaluation of elections after the completion of second round of
elections in several regions of Georgia, which will be released in the name of
the Network. Further, recommendations will be submitted to relevant agencies to
share and implement them in practice to the extent possible.
