Tbilisi. The Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center has released a statement on restriction of freedom of movement for the Muslim citizens. "Recently, the Muslim population of Georgia frequently complains about arbitrary restriction of their freedom of movement by the authorities. ... EMC calls on the state to make official explanations on the restriction of freedom of movement for the Muslim/Kist citizens of Georgia; and to refer to normative basis and reasoning that could justify interference in this right.
