Discussion over Planned Amendments to Social Advertising
Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia has organized a discussion on August 6 dedicated to planned legislative amendments to social advertising regulations. Representatives of the National Communications Commission, CSOs and media have participated in the discussion.
Arguments raised at the meeting included the vagueness of interpretation of social advertising, editorial independence, the role of the National Communications Commission and issues related to switchover to digital broadcasting.
