Tbilisi.  With support  from the UK organization Oxfam, the Women's InformationCenter  has  organized  a  consultation  meeting  on  August 15  with  local  andinternational organizations, as well as representatives of the central authorities andlocal self-governments on "Institutional mechanism for ensuring gender equality atthe local self-government level".The event was organized as part of the project "Gender Justice through Women'sIncreased Political Engagement".
