Samegrelo. 20 years from founding the Georgian Young Lawyers' Association were celebrated on September 22. In relation to the anniversary date, another regional office of the organization was opened in Zugdidi. This will be the ninth office Georgia-wide following Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Gori, Telavi, Dusheti and Ozurgeti. "Similar to all other offices, the Zugdidi office will provide free legal aid to the population, contribute to protection of human rights and rule of law, introduction of accountable governance, raising of legal awareness, support of legal education and achievement of GYLA's other strategic objectives."
