Mtskheta-Mtianeti. CSO "Article 42 of the
Constitution" has organized a meeting and delivered consultations on
October 7 in the Gudamakari Valley, borough Kitokhi. The meeting aimed to raise
awareness on fundamental rights and freedoms of women living in rural areas,
enhance the role of the civil society, and stimulate democratic processes.
After the discussion, the organization's lawyers have provided legal
consultations to participants of the discussion, as well as the interested part
of the District population. The meeting was organized as part of the project
"Empowering Women for Social Development".The
project is implemented with support of the "German Agency for
International Cooperation" (GIZ) and covers 15 districts and villages of
Georgia.
