Tbilisi. A meeting was organized
on October 20 on civic engagement as part of the "Good Governance in
Georgia" program of the US Agency for International Development. The
meeting aimed to promote a dialogue between the Government, Parliament and
non-governmental sector. Representatives of the Ministry of Regional
Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Department of the Chancellery of the
Government of Georgia for Relations with Regions and Local Authorities,
Parliamentary Committee for Regional Policy and Self-Government, National
Association of Local Authorities of Georgia, civil sector and international
donor organizations have participated in the event.
