There is still no day of remembrance for victims of Soviet totalitarianism in Georgia. At the initiative of Soviet Past Research Laboratory, to immortalize victims of Soviet repressions, their names are read at #22, Ingorokva str. every year, on July 30.
The Soviet totalitarian regime killed hundreds of thousands of people; it is important to revive names of these people in order to have a sense of justice so that this maltreatment does not end without a trace. Soviet Past Research Laboratory is a civil society organization, the purpose of which is research, educational work and development of a culture of memory — introduction of unknown stories, preserved in archives, to public.
