About GGI: The Good Governance Initiative (GGI) is a five-year program funded by USAID and implemented by Tetra Tech ARD. The overall goal of the project is to strengthen transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of governance in Georgia, including the legislative and executive branches at various levels. One of GGI`s partner agency is State Audit Office (SAO) of Georgia, where the project focuses on its` institutional strengthening.

About SAO: The goal of the SAO is to support transparency of public finance management and improve accountability. To achieve this goal, one of the objectives of the SAO strategic plan 2018-2022 is to increase citizen engagement in audit process and improve communication with all stakeholders.

Youth Contest and Fellowship Program: In order to achieve the objectives envisaged by SAO`s strategic plan, to improve transparency of SAO`s activities and accountablity towards its stakeholders, USAID GGI announces Youth Contest for best ideas on citizen engagement in the audit process.
