The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) launched the Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) for the years 2012 and 2013 on April 13, 2012 to provide funding of up to $100,000 for new project ideas and again $1 million to $15 million for scaling up of innovative ideas for several years. Interestingly, USAID has opened this opportunity to NGOs from all countries around the world.
