The first group of 21 Volunteers worked alongside Georgian teachers in secondary education English teaching assignments. Since that time, over 900 Volunteers have served in Georgia, exchanging skills with their Georgian counterparts, supervisors, and community members, sharing American culture, and bringing a part of Georgian culture back home to the United States. The 20th group of Volunteers will arrive in April 2020. All Volunteers will complete an 11-week intensive Pre-Service Training (PST).
