Administrative Assistant - Gori

The Peace Corps is a US Agency working in over 65 countries around the world. The Peace Corps established a program in Georgia in 2001 at the invitation of the Government of Georgia. As a non-political, non-commercial, and non-religious agency, Peace Corps Georgia contributes to the expressed social and economic development needs of Georgia while promoting a better understanding between Americans and Georgians. The first group of 21 Volunteers worked alongside Georgian teachers in secondary education English teaching assignments. Since that time, over 900 Volunteers have served in Georgia, exchanging skills with their Georgian counterparts, supervisors, and community members, sharing American culture, and bringing a part of Georgian culture back home to the United States. The 20th group of Volunteers will arrive in April 2020. All Volunteers will complete an 11-week intensive Pre-Service Training (PST).
