GeoWel Research, a Tbilisi-based research organisation, is announcing a 6-month research fellowship program
that will start in July until December for recent masters degree
graduates or students currently studying for a masters degree. The
objective of the internship will be for interns to gain a wide
experience in conducting highly numerate research, largely focused on
economic development, for large international organizations, across the
region. Interns will receive a stipend of 300 GEL per month.
Our research focuses on economic development issues, particularly
relating to agricultural development, but we have also completed
projects on rule of law, gender, civil service reform, education, IDPs,
political parties and security.
Our clients to date include ADB, UNDP, USAID, UNICEF, DfID, KFW, GIZ,
CARE International, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, International Organization for
Migration, Transparency International, World Vision, World Learning,
Soros Foundation (Georgia and Moldova), Eurasia Partnership Foundation,

Partnership. We focus on Georgia but also conduct research regionally
and have conducted work in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia,
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova and Belarus.
