Expanded Constituency Workshop (ECW) for the Constituency in Eastern Europe

The Global Environmental Facility ( GEF) will be holding an Expanded Constituency Workshop (ECW) for the Constituency in Eastern Europe comprised of the following countries:
Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, CroatiaGeorgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine.
The ECW will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia - Herzegovina, on September 5 - 6, 2013.
The GEF will finance the participation of1 civil society member from each of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine. The GEF financial support includes accommodation, daily allowance and plane tickets.
In addition, there will be a civil society meeting on September 4, organized and facilitated by the GEF NGO Network. All selected sponsored participants are expected to attend.

This year’s ECWs have a renewed agenda, with hands-on practical exercises on national capacity development (NCSA), results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, and synergies in project design presented by Convention Secretariats (CBD, UNFCCC, UNCCD). The agenda will further focus on discussions regarding the new GEF Fee Policy, the project Cycle harmonization process and provide important updates about the preparations for GEF-6 and the replenishment process.
Russian / English simultaneous interpretation will be provided throughout the workshop.
