The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI)
is a non-profit organization working to strengthen democracy worldwide.
With the support of the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID), and in partnership with the Parliament of Georgia,
NDI is implementing a Parliamentary Strengthening Program (PSP). The
program aims at strengthening the Parliament as an institution by
enhancing its transparency and effectiveness in its legislative and
outreach capacities.
Under the new program, NDI is searching for full time interns to
work in the Parliament of Georgia in Kutaisi from September 2013 to
December 2013. NDI provides a monthly stipend of 150 USD. Interns will
have the opportunity to acquire experience working in Parliament, as
well as receive regular monthly trainings on different topics from NDI.
Based on experience, interns will be placed in a Parliamentary
Committees, Departments or Parliamentary Factions.
Note: The internship is based in Kutaisi.
