USAID funded Georgia HIV Prevention Project (GHPP) is pleased to announce Request
for Applications (RFA) to design and pilot targeted prevention
interventions among incarcerated youth, youth on probation, and at-risk
youth that can be identified outside of the penitentiary system. The
overall objective of the program intervention is to support positive
lifestyle changes among at-risk youth with regard to tobacco, alcohol
and illicit drug use and other HIV associated risky behaviors. The
activities to be designed and implemented under this project should
include, but are not limited to, the following:
a) Development and implementation of specific educational
intervention adapted to the needs of incarcerated youth, youth on
probation, and other at-risk youth;
b) Design and implementation of psycho-social interventions to
reduce HIV associated risky behaviors among at-risk youth in both
penitentiary and civil sectors.
