World Vision Georgia (WVG) is announcing an opening for the position of HR Assistant Intern.

Duration of internship: 6 months with possible extension.

Purpose of position:
Provide technical and administrative assistance for HR department in maintaining personnel files, everyday administrative tasks and internal/external communications in accordance with WVG core values and philosophy.
Major responsibilities:
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Contracts and Personnel Files:
** Deal with contract up-dates as advised by HR Officer
** Maintain HR Filing system, constantly monitor personnel file checklists and update the files with any missing document, under coordination of HR Officer
** Prepare Employment Certificates, make sure the requests are provided in timely manner.
Recruitment and on Boarding:
** Organize the recruitment flow starting from inviting the candidates to finalizing the selection process
** Participate in the interviews when necessary
** Coordinate with Ministry of Internal Affairs to obtain police background checks when deemed necessary
** Facilitate the on boarding of a new hire and organize the orientation session as per the WVG on boarding process flow
** Ensure that all the recruitment & selection and orientation documents are kept on file of a new hire
** Facilitate the volunteer selection and contracting via the online database.
Other responsibilities:
** Participate in WVG field activities and other organizational development initiatives
** Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and skills:
Education: Can be a graduate student of economic, social sciences, or other related faculties.
Knowledge and skills:
** Analytical and problem-solving orientation, good interpersonal skills
** Detail orientation skills
** Culture sensitive
** Prioritization and time management
** Open to learning and development
** Ability to maintain balance and effectiveness
** Must have computer aptitude and word processing skills
** Effective in written and oral communication in English, Georgian and Russian.
Experience: Candidates with up to 1 year of administrative experience will be given a preference.
