People in Need is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance, while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. It is one of the largest relief and development organizations in post-communist Europe and has administered projects in 37 countries over the past 20 years. People in Need has been working in Georgia since 2005 and has offices in Tbilisi and Kutaisi. Currently, People in Need implements projects that support agriculture and business development, youth civic engagement, vocational training for vulnerable youth and the use documentary films as a tool for social change in schools.
People in Need is currently implementing a Czech government-funded project in the field of social support to vulnerable youth and their family members. The project is aimed at supporting vulnerable groups through community mobilization, vocational education, establishing social enterprises and increasing civic engagement of the project beneficiaries.People in Need is recruiting a Project Manager to be responsible for overall program and financial management of the project and to provide support to the team through planning, coordination of implementation, monitoring, documentation and liaison with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
** Responsible for overall project management including project administration, finance/budget management, external relations, monitoring/evaluation and advocacy;
** Supervise the organization and facilitation of all project activities implemented by Project Coordinator
** Manage process of selection vocational trainees and establishing socially oriented businesses;
** Proactively participate in elaboration of the project related informational materials;
** Conduct regular field visits to monitor vocational trainees and supported social businesses with providing consultation, updating database; drafting monitoring reports;
** Serve as the main contact person for donors, all local stakeholders and government authorities
** Monitor and analyze official and non-governmental sources of information relevant to the project;
** Assist with logistics when purchasing material assets for the project beneficiaries;
** Responsible for all donor reporting and external communication of the project
** Prepare the informative material in the part relating to his/her responsibilities, for the PIN website, annual reports etc.
** Assist in the preparation of new project proposals and other fundraising initiatives
Qualifications and personal qualities:
** Educational background or professional experience in social work, education or business studies;
** A minimum of 5-7 years relevant work experience in NGO and/or government sector working in the field of social support and/or youth sector
** Excellent communication, analytical, advocacy and financial management skills;
** Good understanding of the social and institutional environment;
** Fluency in written and spoken English and Georgian;
** MS Office proficiency;
** Good interpersonal and team-working skills;
** Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Hours: Full-time position starting 1 November 2013
