Youth Issue Campaign School

The National Democratic Institute (NDI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to strengthen democratic institutions worldwide through supporting citizen participation, openness and accountability of the government. Under the program supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), NDI is organizing the Issue Campaign School for young people.

The Youth Issue Campaign School aims at supporting young people to strengthen their voices in the social and political sphere in Georgia by designing and implementing citizen-oriented and evidence-based advocacy campaigns. The School entails a five-month engagement with the Institute, which includes a five-day intensive training for successful candidates, followed by additional need-based training and consultations in the coming months. Upon the completion of the modules, the candidates will independently carry out pilot campaigns around Georgia. The five-day training moderated by international field experts will take place in October-November 2022, whereas the advocacy campaigns and follow-up consultations will take place between December 2022 and February 2023.
