Under the overall supervision of MAC Georgia`s Disability Programs Manager, the Content and Digital Media Consultant will work in close collaboration with the Parents` Skivri Project Coordinator, the Families and Communities Coordinator, and other MAC Georgia employees to increase media reach and visibility effectiveness by designing, producing, and facilitating multimedia content for MAC Georgia`s Parents` Skivri platform. Main tasks shall include:
Providing ongoing outreach and communication strategy development in order to make the platform both accessible and engaging;
- Creating graphics and other visuals, including graphic videos, for daily posts;
- Copywriting posts and other materials in order to establish a tone of voice that is warm, inviting, engaging and easy to understand.
- Ensuring Important international days and campaigns are highlighted on social media channels with relevant content and information.
- Developing storytelling components through human-centered content (this might involve leveraging with photographer/videographer)
- Liaising with media to raise visibility of Mshoblis Skivri and its work.
- Offering technical support to Zoom-based Facebook LIVES or video recordings (including provision of real-time support);
- Extending technical support to virtual Consultation (ensuring that virtual parent and specialist meetings run smoothly and that satisfaction feedback is solicited and shared);
- Support the planning of on-site events, including Mshoblis Skivri speaker series.
- Optimising the web-page and related channels to the highest standards;
- Supporting MAC Georgia employees to establish and implement an effective messaging and referral system, ensuring that questions/comments reach the right specialist.
