Orbeliani Meti is looking to hire a dedicated Project Manager to join the team. The main role of a project manager is to plan, organise, and oversee the successful completion of a project Orbeliani Meti. Project manager is responsible for guiding a project, ensuring that it meets its objectives within the allocated time, budget, and quality parameters.
To succeed as a project manager at Orbeliani Georgia, you should be able to think creatively, and have excellent team working and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree with experience as a project manager, international relations, Civic Activism, Business administration and management or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and activities. Create a work breakdown structure (WBS) to define tasks and subtasks. Estimate resource needs, budget, and potential risks. Identify dependencies and critical path activities. Establish project management methodologies and tools.
- Project Orbeliani Meti: To manage and lead project Orbeliani Meti. Provide support and coordination of idea authors under Orbeliani Meti. Lead, coordinate, monitor and evaluate crowdfunding campaigns for idea authors. To coordinate and support exchange of practices and information among idea authors and organise meetings, video calls or any other support considering the situation. Ensure quality implementation of the activities, monitoring them and preparing reports.
- Team Management: Define roles, responsibilities, and reporting structures. Foster collaboration, communication, and motivation within the team. Provide guidance and support to team members. Conduct regular team meetings and progress reviews.
- Writing: Project Manager is responsible to prepare and submit plans and reports to management and adjusting plans if necessary. Analyses of current situations in the project and defining/updating project needs. If necessary, organising and writing different studies, research or other procurement with the involvement of relevant parties. Prepare info guidelines and packages for idea authors.
- Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials). Coordinate resource availability and utilisation. Monitor resource allocation and adjust as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and assess their likelihood and impact. Regularly monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Track project progress against the project plan. Monitor project performance, including budget, schedule, and quality. Regularly report project status to stakeholders and management.

Candidate requirements
- At least Bachelor degree in related field (international relations, project management, business administration and management).
- Experience in not-for-profit and/or social impact initiatives and/or managing volunteers and/or community outreach.
- 2 years of experience in a similar position is required.
- Project Management Knowledge: A solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices is essential. This includes knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, quality management, and change management
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Project managers need strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate project teams. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for conveying project requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating collaboration among team members
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Project managers must be skilled in analysing project data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions. They should possess strong problem-solving capabilities to address project issues and find practical solutions.
- Knowledge of office programs and using digital platforms is required (Microsoft office, Canva, pdf, google, google drive tools,Freedcamp).
- Professionalism and Ethical Conduct: Project managers must adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in their work. They should demonstrate integrity, honesty, and a commitment to delivering projects with the highest level of professionalism.
- English Language on advance level required.
- Experience working in remote regions of Georgia and/or who speak minority languages, an asset.
- Sociability, ability of analytical thinking.
