Radarami is seeking a Media and Logistics Coordinator.
Founded in 2010, Radarami brings the most influential, best-selling non-fiction books to Georgia in high-quality, affordable translations, distributes them to libraries and bookstores across the country, and encourages public debate by organizing regular events.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:
Events organization:
** In conjunction with the Project Manager, determines format, venue, participants, speakers and guests for all Radarami events, including but not limited to book launches, presentations, and discussions.
** Reserves appropriate venue, arranges for and ensures the transportation of books and all other necessary equipment to venue (computer, projector, etc.)
** Negotiates for guests speakers, arranges for transportation of Radarami staff and guest speakers to venue when necessary.
** With accountant, coordinates payment for venders and transportation when necessary.
** Publicizes events via social media, posters, and all other appropriate means.
** Ensures media coverage of events.
Working with the Media:
** Works closely with Georgian media to increase their awareness about Radarami and ensures regular and correct coverage of Radarami news.
** Creates press releases and other information as needed.
** Able to interview with press to discuss the Radarami concept and latest books.
Social Media:
** Manages website of the organization and ensures timely updates of news as planned.
** Manages Facebook account of the organization and ensures frequent updates with news, pictures and information, as appropriate.
** Seeks other creative and effective social media outlets to promote Radarami.
Book Distribution:
** Works with the Project Manager to implement distribution strategy.
** Coordinates with identified book distribution networks and shops, and
** Constantly looks for new opportunities to expand the distribution network.
** Communicates with booksellers on a regular basis, answers questions and arrange for book drop-offs.
** Informs project team of progress of distribution in the regions, including the number of books distributed and sold as well as any problems.
** Delivers books from the publishing house to the warehouse, Radarami's office and other locations as needed.
** Communicates with accountant to file proper legal documents to transport books.
** Manages distribution database and all relevant documentation.
** Performs other logistic activities when needed.
Additional responsibilities: Read all Radarami books.
Experience and qualifications:
** A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
** At least 1 year experience in managing promotion and publicity campaigns in a similar setting
** Excellent organizational skills
** Fluent English and Georgian, both written and spoken
** Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of graphic programs and basic photo/video processing software is a plus.
