The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) has announced the 2013 Call for Proposals for NGOs to apply for the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. It supports effective initiatives that demonstrate that violence against women and girls can be systematically addressed, reduced and, with persistence, eliminated.
