About the role

Orbeliani Georgia announces the vacancy of social manager.

The Social Media Manager will support the Communication officer in internal and external communication process, will coordinate social media channels FB pages, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LInkedin. Will coordinate all content related to organisation and project activities, publications, videos, social and traditional content, newsletter. Continuously researching and adopting new social media trends, tools, and technologies to improve performance and engagement of the audience together with a communication officer.

To succeed as a social media manager, you should be able to think creatively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. At least 1 year of experience as a social media manager. Public relations or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Platform Management: Staying up-to-date with changes and updates on social media platforms FB pages, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LInkedin.
Content Curation: Curating and sharing relevant industry news, trends, and user-generated content to keep the audience informed and engaged.
Writing and editing: Is responsible for writing and editing various forms of content, such as social media and web page updates, and other materials that communicate the organisation's message to its various stakeholders. Responsible for creating contents and preferably the visual side of the posters, reports or any other materials published by the organisations.
Audience Growth: Growing the organisation's social media following through targeted outreach, promotions, and engagement strategies.
Posting and Scheduling: Managing the posting schedule, ensuring consistent and timely updates across all social media channels.
Community Engagement: Interacting with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, and fostering positive relationships with the online community.
Content Calendar: Developing and maintaining a content calendar to plan and organize content creation and publication.

Candidate requirements

●Student or Bachelor degree in related field (public relations, marketing use, communication).
●1 year of experience in a similar position is required.
●English Language on advance level required.
●Knowledge of office programs and using digital platforms is required (Microsoft office, Canva, pdf, google, google drive tools).
●Experience working for non-profit organisations will be an asset.
●Ability of creative thinking and high level of communication skills.
●Sociability, ability of analytical thinking.
●Punctuality, team player, striving for self-development.
